James Blunt

James Hillier Blunt was born on 22 February 1974. A singer-songwriter, he started playing the piano and the violin at the age of 7. At the age of 14, he became interested in the electric guitar. He was in the army in Kosovo when he realised that music was extremely important to him. It was then that he composed No Bravery, a song about war. He left the army in 2002 and, after a few concerts in London and Canada, he recorded his first album in 2004, Back to Bedlam. It features hit songs such as You're Beautiful, which reached number 1 in various countries, Goodbye Goodbye My Lover and, of course, No Bravery.
