Frank Sinatra was born on 12 December 1915 in New Jersey. A world-renowned American singer and actor, he had a number of nicknames including "The Voice" and "The Hoboken Gangster". Frank Sinatra was born with a perforated eardrum. After working at several odd jobs, he decided to pursue a career in music despite his hearing loss. In 1935, the young man recorded a number of songs and took part in TV talent shows, but he was never successful. Luck knocked on his door in 1940 when he joined Tommy Dorsey's band. From then on, his career continued to grow. In addition to music, Frank Sinatra also worked in the film industry and appeared on numerous radio stations. It was during this period that he wrote his greatest hits, such as "Strangers in the Night" and "My Way", a song covered by Claude François under the title "Comme d'habitude".
