"Body and Soul" is a huge jazz standard composed in 1930 and very quickly covered by almost all the great performers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Frank Sinatra... and more recently in a duet by Tony Bennett and Amy Winehouse. Piano solo - Level 3

The final part is disappointingly stingy (poor). And to be more precise, it is generally absent. If you have heard the original, you will understand what I mean. In this piano version, you could make a simply luxurious ending in its jazz descending harmonies, passages, tremolos, instead of one final poor chord. It's not the first time I've noticed this. Songs like "Alicia Keys – If I Ain't Got You" or "Natalie Cole – I Wish You Love" come to mind, in which I added my own worthy endings, since they also had the final parts literally "stolen". And here I also have to create my own worthy ending again. Of course, it’s much easier and faster to write «Go back to section B, and then play the final chord». But the final part is often of great importance, leaving a general impression of the work, and forcing the audience to applaud you.
